MyBipe

MyBipe is based on a modifications to other bipes I've researched. It will fit in an 18' wide tent.

I will use the build techniques I learned building the Hurc, which include T6 tubes, T6 gussets, aircraft bolts, and stainless steel rivets.

The wing area will be 175 sq ft to lift me off my 550' runway quickly. The fuselage cabin area will be like the Hopper I just built. The wing shape is like the Extra 10-300, with ailerons. Piano hinges will be used to minimize the hinge gap. U braces hold the fin to the 3" boom tube, and angle braces hold the stabilizer to the fuselage. Wing struts and 1/4" support wires will be used to support the wing. The wing thickness will 7". A light weight spar of 1/16" T6 angle will be used to hold the ribs.

Covering will be with 10 mil thick industrial outdoor shrink wrap, shrink tape, tarp tape, and headliner spray glue, just like the Hopper.

The motor will be a Rotax 670, liquid cooled, Rave exhaust, 105 hp, tuned exhaust, and a Sea-Doo pumper carb for inverted flying.
